1. Coverage of academic tuition fees (subject to confirmation for the 2023-24 academic year).
2. Monthly stipends for living
expenses, totaling £12,600 over 12 months (£1,050 per month for a single
student).
3. An arrival allowance of £750 and a thesis/internship report allowance of £580.

To be considered eligible for
this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Possess an honors degree with
a second-class upper level or above in Law, Economics, Geology, Petroleum,
Mining Engineering, or Finance. Applicants from other academic backgrounds must
provide a clear explanation of their motivation for pursuing the relevant LLM
program and outline any relevant legal work experience.
2. Hold an offer for either the
LLM in International Mineral Law and Policy or LLM in International Oil and Gas
Law and Policy, starting in September 2023.
3. Meet the University of
Dundee's English language entry requirements.
4. Demonstrate intellectual
capability and leadership potential.
5. Exhibit a proven track record
and the potential to assume influential roles.
6. Ideally, have legal
qualifications and some post-degree work experience in energy or natural
resource development within the government, private sector, or academia.
7. Commit to completing the degree within a 12-month timeframe. International students are expected to return to their home country upon completion of the study period.
