The Ban Ki-Moon Global Citizen Scholarship

The Ban Ki-Moon Global Citizen Scholarship Program enables extraordinary young individuals to attend international conferences and receive customized short-term academic training.

It also provides mentorship during the creation of their own "SDG Micro-Project" aimed at addressing one or more SDGs in their community.

This fully virtual scholarship is designed to empower African change-makers through summer school, expert trainings, and workshops.

Requirements for Ban Ki-Moon Global Citizen Scholarship

The training is focused on 15 individuals between the ages of 20 and 35, who are African change makers hailing from a country in Africa.

1. Be a proactive African leader between the ages of 20 and 35.

2. Have a strong commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

3. Have a keen interest in learning about sustainable entrepreneurship through an online summer school with MCI Innsbruck.
